I was mugged today...

Today at work when I was taking out the garbage I was mugged at knife point. Luckily I left my wallet and check book in my car and all I had was my gold St. Benedict Medal valued at 500 dollars.

You see I am allergic to metal and the only thing i can wear is Gold or this "fake" metal, which they leave out the compound I am allergic too.

I don't know how he knew I had a gold medal worth that much, or anything of the sort but all I know is that he had very long hair, and a tatoo on his left arm, near the bicep. He was wearing black shorts and a shrit.

I reported to the police and they are going to notify 5-10 pawn shops nearby my city.

Tonight was one of the nights I will never forgot and also one of the scariest momments of my life.

That is terrible, I pray that they catch him and return the medal. Though I'm glad you're alright, it could've ended much worse.

This is not intended to be a joke but, if you're allergic to metal, how can you walk into a kitchen or near a car?

It was really weird, the guy first came up behind and asked;
"Do you need any help" I was very startled and said no that I'd be fine. Then he pulled out the knife and said give me your wallet.

I preceded to say that I don't carry a wallet, change, or check book with me to avoid the tempation of purchasing needless items, failing to mention that it was in my car. Then he said, do you have anything valuable? I'm like yes, I wear this St. Benedict Medal around my neck here have it.

Then he ran off....



Paladin, I am allergic to metal if it touches my skin for a long period of time. I can go into places with metal, just can't wear it.

The police say that I should be able to go back to work again because he wouldn't hit the same target again, especially since the cops are on to him now....

I'm actualyl really scared to go to bed now....
