Hey now, let's not dump on music someone else might enjoy. The enjoyment of music is subjective. If you criticize it because you think it's whiny or uninspired, that's your opinion. And don't judge people who listen to it. That's just ignorant.

How can you plan a break-up? It happens or it doesn't.

This might just be my person experience, or assumptions based on the idea that you're planning on breaking up in 2 days but... he sounds like a jerk.
You don't want to break up, but it's already been decided? So it was all his decision then. Sounds like he's already dumped you.
Use this "year" to think carefully about whether that's the kind of behavior you want in a future husband.

Like I said, I don't know any more than what you've told me, but it sounds like my last relationship. And I'm not going through that again. Because if that is how he treated me before he'd won my heart, imagine what he'd be like after.

You can plan a break up. It obviously can happen because we are doing it. He is not a jerk. We bicker a lot, but neither of us actually has a strong affinity for emo music and it's fun to fight about it. Actually, technically, I'm dumping him. There is a difference between want to and should. Right now my heart is going "what the f*** are you doing???" but my head knows this is in both of our best interests. It smells of elderberries yes, but no one ever said love wasn't sucky. He is my favorite person in the entire world. That being said, we each need to grow up a bit and figure ourselves out before we can really be growing up together.

oh and that emo virus site is hillarious.
