Something New

we've added something new along with our scripture reflections for the sunday readings. we've also added the relevant catechism passages for every sunday's readings. btw, cappie provides us with wonderful reflections every week, and Seven77 has been really great at posting them and keeping them up to date. let's give them some props for continuing this part of phatmass that gets neglected by most of the peeps here (myself included).

I personally think Lil Red, Cappie and Seven77 are doing a great job. They're actually saying something - teaching . . . I, on the other hand, am just telling people where to go . . . hmmm, sounds almost like real life . . . maybe I'd better adjust my job description

that makes me sad. if more people talked and shared their thoughts about the Gospel, raph, we could have a more active phorum.

i read. i think sometimes private reflection is better than outright discussion. sometimes people become fixed on other peoples thoughts or ideas and do not allow themselves to absorb their own thoughts or feelings about the readings. sometimes its nice to sit and read and then reflect and praise God.

that's true. but if i have a question about the Gospel, or if something struck me about the readings, or something about the homily struck me; i think it's important to share that with others.
