avemaria40 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 How are the sacraments of initiation administered in an Eastern Rite Catholic Church? like are u confirmed as a baby? or how old? and how old when u receive first Holy Communion?
Laudate_Dominum Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Usually all three Mysteries (Sacraments) of initiation (or illumination)-- which consist of Baptism, Chrismation (Confirmation) and Eucharist-- are received as an infant. The baby receives a very small particle of the Eucharist. God bless.
