Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 i just say it for the first time yesterday amazing movie, very moving what was your favorite line? mine was "Behold Mother I make all things new" it was very beatiful.
zwergel88 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 that was probably my favorite line too. I agree, it was very beautiful!
MC Just Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 i watch it when i start to feel weak and tempted.
Dudette Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 oh, at WYD I saw Jim Caviezel!! He prayed the Rosary with us, it was awesome. We also watched the movie. It was my 3rd time, and I cried, again. Each time I watched it, I was quite aware of my sins and realized how evil sin is.
Theoketos Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I just realized that we should totally watch it @ our lock in this weekend.

LiL Kat Said Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 i havn't seen it yet.....even though my family owns it...
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 a Catholic church is having a lock in??? wow never heard that before not that it is at all a bad thing
avemaria40 Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 it's such a profound movie, especially the part where i saw Him get beaten and all i could think was, my sins did that? wow! And i also liked that they didn't sugarcoat it, like in The Last Temptation of Christ, they made Jesus seem insane (although Peter Gabriel did an awesome jobw/the soundtrack) and alot of times they make it seem like it's in a kid's cartoon but this gives u the brutal reality of how we really needed salvation and the brutality our Lord faced.
DemonSlayer Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 I was gonna see the film and Jim Caviezel talk afterwards at Dusseldorf (World Youth Day), but I couldn't go because I had to do something else then. Anybody go to that?
Asher Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 ^ I wasn't at WYD, sadly... I thought Mel Gibson did an incredible job making the movie, and when he says the Holy spirit guided him in the making of the movie, you can tell it's true. It was very well written too. If you haven't seen the movie yet, see it.
White Knight Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Its a film that you just can't watch over & over again. its on occaution.
DemonSlayer Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 I should've gotten it cheap at the place where Fr Stan did the concerts at WYD for only 7 Euros.
shelly_freak Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Never seen it...but I bet I can guess the ending
zunshynn Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. It changed my life. The entire movie did, but that one really did, because I was so hostile to God at the time. "Behold Mother I make all things new"... that was beautiful too
