Oh for crying out loud. Stop being coy with me. YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORD IS VERY WELL YOUNG LADY. NOW OUT WITH IT! Do you think I don't know what the word is. Well fine, then tell me so I can tell you if you are right.
Actually there is a plethora of other words that are synonomous with universal, for example:

accepted, all, all-embracing, all-inclusive, allover, astronomical, broad, celestial, common, comprehensive, cosmic, cosmopolitan, customary, diffuse, earthly, ecumenical, empyrean, entire, extensive, general, generic, global, mondaine, multinational, omnipresent, planetary, prevalent, regular, stellar, sweeping, terrestrial, total, ubiquitous, undisputed, unlimited, unrestricted, usual, whole, widespread, worldly

are all possible synonyms for universal, asking for another word to replace it is not a very specific question.

Seems like you left one out of the list. But I can't put my finger on it. Just cut and paste it out of some article so that you didn't actually type it in. I am sure the creator of the thread will not chastise you.

here is a list of synonyms for a word that I may or may not have left out. I think that after this I will have posted enough so that you can sufficiantly understand the meaning of universal:

all-embracing, broad-minded, charitable, comprehensive, cosmic, cosmopolitan, diffuse, eclectic, ecumenical, extensive, generic, global, inclusive, indeterminate, large-scale, liberal, open-minded, planetary, receptive, tolerant, unbigoted, universal, unprejudiced, unsectarian, whole, wide, world-wide, worldly

dude? haven't we beaten around the bush enough already. I have repeatedly told you the religion of the pope which was your original question. He belongs to the religion founded by Christ, based at the Vatican, and which is very universal.
