Triumph

[StColette]

Has anyone read Triumph: The Power and the Glory of the Catholic Church by H.W. Crocker, III?

I bought it yesterday and I'm already more than halfway through it. It of course talks about the History of the Church but it doesn't read like a list of facts. It rather tells the History of the Church almost like an epic. It's really good so far!!

i remember dUSt saying that he enjoyed it. i haven't read it yet.

I love it! I had to stop reading it for a bit, due to some reading for school, but when I was reading it, I couldnt put it down! I think it is better than many fiction books i have read, because of the fact that Its all true.

Yeah, I agree and it's not like a lot of historical books that just list a bunch of facts, which can be rather dry and sometimes boring. This makes you learn without you knowing it lol

[dUSt]

One of my fav's.

dUSt, does this person have any other books out about the Church?

[Fides_et_Ratio]

I have it, but have yet to read it (got carried away in my "Ratzinger craze"....). I think Crocker has at least 2 other books... but I don't remember much about them.

[Thy Geekdom Come]

I have it, but have never read it.
