Proud2BCatholic139 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 (edited) I used to watch Buggs Bunny all the time... I don't know, also Power Rangers with my brother (This was like the old power rangers where it rocked my socks off!!!!) I wish I had time to be a kid and watch cartoons again... But, there are a lot of innuendoes shown in most of today's cartoons...what have they come too? Edited September 26, 2005 by Proud2BCatholic139
Theologian in Training Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I used to get up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons...those were the days...although, I still find myself watching cartoons despite the fact that they just aren't the same as those that I grew up with. If you guys long for the old Saturday morning cartoons I would recommend, for those that can, to get the cartoon station "Boomerang." I cannot get it here because it is not offered, but if you check out the line-up there are some quality cartoons...a lot from the 80's. sweetpea316 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men, and Captain Planet were my absolute faves. Yes, I accept it now...I was a tomboy.
I hear ya... that was me too. Then again, I have only brothers, so I just kinda watched whatever they watched.
ofpheritup Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 LAZYTOWN The classic saga of good versus evil. Frick versus Frack Bert versus Ernie. My mommy versus well.....everybody. I'm rambling...bye bye.
Excelsior1027 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Power Rangers was the show I always watched, before they made it terrible by dragging it on so much...Spider-Man, some X-men, Digimon...I'm only 14, so I know some more recent ones. No one makes quality Saturday morning cartoons anymore, lol.
Norseman82 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) Oh man, you guys left a LOT out! What about the animated Star Trek series? The Jetsons? Underdog? Speed Racer? Magilla Gorilla? Johnny Quest? Ricochet Rabbit? Fat Albert? Edited June 28, 2006 by Norseman82
homeschoolmom Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 It seems we're too old for this poll, Norseman... They don't even have Superfriends...
Guest Rick777 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Hey! I was looking at this poll this morning!
Sojourner Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I used to LOVE the Superfriends. The Wonder Twins were my favorite.
Norseman82 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) I forgot Inspector Gadget...and Secret Squirrel.... And even though they were only partially animated, let's not forget H.R. Pufnstuf and Sigmund and the Sea Monsters... Edited June 28, 2006 by Norseman82
homeschoolmom Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Pufnstuf was very trippy.... Jimmy... Jimmy....
heavenseeker Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 none of the above because they are not shown anymore on Sat. mornings and i wake up to late anyways.
Norseman82 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I nominate Homeschoolmom and Sojouner as the official Phatmass "Elektra Woman and Dyna Girl"!
scardella Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) Letsee... I've watched lots of cartoons in my day; here's the best: GI Joe Thundercats He-Man TMNT Garfield Transformers Animaniacs Pinky and the Brain Freakazoid! Super Mario Bros./Zelda Looney Toons Muppet Babies Bobby's World Pirates of Dark Water Reboot <- first computer generated TV show that I remember The Tick Dinosaucers Doug Ren and Stimpy <- For some reason, I got the soundtrack... nothing like listening to the Log Theme Song... I just wish I could get all of them on DVD... I started, though... I've got TMNT season 2. A friend of mine had the GI Joe miniseries before it became a regular series.
