Well, they had a pretty slimy texture ... but they were cooked in garlic and butter. And that made 'em taste really good.

escargot. Yummmm...they are kinda salty and are very firm. Honestly, they taste kinda like portabella mushrooms.

Since they are normally baked in butter, they have a buttery (duh) flavor to them as well. And garlic-y too...ususally.

ooh, escargot. good stuff!! haha, we had liver meatball soup the other day at this restaurant in austria...we didn't get to pick our meal, as there were 170 of us there. but the main course of roast beef and potatoes, and the rum cake dessert, along with the amazing wachau valley white wine made it better

NUTELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *drools* I LOVE Nutella! I loved it so much when I was in Europe I bought some in England to bring home with me, haha then I found it out we do sell it here. So I'm happy.
