stuckinamo Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I have a question regarding one of my friends. She has really fallen away from Christ as of lately. We've been talking a lot about it and stuff and when I asked her earlier if she wanted to go to confession with me tomorrow, she said "no i can't even bring myself to go because it's been so long and i'm just not really into it." should i keep gently pushing her to go, or is she right to not go because she feels like she wouldn't be into it?? Maybe this doesn't even make sense or is not posted in the right place. But what do you think?
Pio Nono Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 JMJ 9/2 - Twenty-second Friday stuckinamo, No, it's a perfectly legitimate question to ask. I would recommend that you be a good friend to her, and when you go and she's around, just tell her you're going. However, don't pressure her too much - your example, especially as a good friend, will eventually lead her back to Christ. Let Him bring her back in His time. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
