franciscanheart Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 i finally watched this show last night (or most of it before mom called me in to help with computer stuff) and i enjoyed it! i couldnt believe it! i had always blown it off as something that was going to be so dumb - too american idol like and it wasnt! i really liked the way it was set up, the stage, the band, everything!
prose Posted September 7, 2005 Author Posted September 7, 2005 I have never watch American Idol. I just can't stand that poppy kind of stuff. But this show is soooo good. I thought it would smell of elderberries too. I just wish it was on earlier... "It's you and me up in the trees..." Love it!!
IcePrincessKRS Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Yeah, when I first saw the commercials I thought it was going to be too Americal Idol-ish, too. But then I actually caught an encore of the first week of shows and I loved it. I like Mig and Marty. I think Marty especially rocked last night. I think he's shown that he's the most willing to adapt to INXS and what they want. I still have a soft spot for Jordis, though. And I like Suzie in her own right, but not for INXS so much. She seems very Pat Benitar or Debbie Harry to me. So, while the softie in me wants Jordis to win, I really think Marty should get it. The other 3 (not JD because I don't like him) should get their own record deals. :

prose Posted September 7, 2005 Author Posted September 7, 2005 It only works with Internet Explorer, so if you are running Firefox or Netscape it won't work. I had a big problem too until I figured that out

prose Posted September 8, 2005 Author Posted September 8, 2005 I can't believe that JD got the encore today! I was so excited to see Marty again. I was happy to see Mig not in the bottom 3 though. He has never been there for the ENTIRE season. I still think he'll win.
IcePrincessKRS Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 (edited) I can't believe JD didn't get the boot. I'm gonna miss Jordis. One thing I really liked about her and Jordis, versus the other women rockers on the show, is that they rarely wear anything trampy. I actually missed tonight's show because we went to meet my brother in law's girlfriend. (I looked it up online haha) I haven't gotten a chance to check out the videos on IE yet. You know what would be a great twist?? If they hired both Mig and Suzie. That would be cool. Now, the question is... Are you going to buy the first CD???
