8 reasons why I'm quitting my job

My job doesn't promote virtue. It is a job that promotes sin, everyone is always talking about sex, and other acts.

They are always swearing and talking about "each other's mothers:"

I have repettively been called a child molester, and asked "do you like boys" because I want to be a priest.

I quit drama because I wanted to work, however I think I might want to rejoin.

Tonight I was called a stupid fing idiot for something I didn't even do.

The guy working tonight made one of the other kids cry. And he isn't leaving anytime soon.

Finally our boss decided that every mistake we may make on a pizza is coming out of our paycheck. Now we don't even make 175.00 a month, and each pizza costs 17.00 on average, so if we are to screw on just 3 pizzas a pay period, we will each lose 51-75 dollars.

If something doesn't promote virtue and hinders a vocation it must end. And that is why I'm quitting my job.

^Is that not harassment?

Do you have it documented. There are laws against harrassement. If the boss won't do anything about it and it doesn't stop, they should be prosecuted. Sue and give the money to charity.

DO IT

there has to be an end to this. i'm somewhat from the camp that the only reason this kind of thing keeps happening is because nobody takes action

....then again. the best thing to do WOULD be to pray for them. more charitable...more Christian. perhaps you could explain to them why its not proper to call you a child molester because of etc etc etc. aside from the whole obvious insult part... and perhaps keeping the job, and being an example of your faith, would help them as well.

however your boss is really unreasonable about the pizza mistake thing. that's good enough reason to quit, imo.

Actually all the pizza makers are quitting because of this.... We all decided we're gonna throw our shirts in the oven and let em' burn.

He's not old enough to get a lawyer, and I don't think his mother will let him for this reason, from what I've gathered from his posts.

Isn't it illegal to take that cost out of your cheque? I had a boss try that once, and it turned out that they can not take ANY money from your cheque without your expressed consent.

He even tried to get us to sign waivers so he could do it, but that was illegal too b/c you can't agree to giving someone an unknown amount of money.

Maybe it is just a Canadian thing.

It is illegal in most states, and punishable by fines of up to $5000 (yes, five thousand dollars) per violation, depending on the state.
