whell i was rooming with a bunch of north dakotans and they were telling a bunch of stupid joes and on kid goes "how many kids does it take to screw in a lite bulb" there was a long dramatic pause and i said "Whats a Light Bulb!!!????" it was really funny so it i say Whats a light bulb you now what i am talking about!!!!

My brother and I have a few inside jokes.

Sometimes we throw in a Spanish word or two when we're talking, like "Verdad". We don't speak Spanish, but my father does, in broken English, so it's kind of an inside joke on him. And sometimes we'll say something like "better chu you mouse" or just "iss bettah", mimicking my father. That's how he used to say "shut your mouth" to us. We would always crack up when he said it when we were younger, which got him even more angry.

And there's another inside joke that we got from A Nightmare On Elm Street, which we were obssessed with as kids. Two lines from the movie, "Cuz if you know you better tell me", and "Code blue". We always just say that. It's funny. To us, anyway.

O.K. this is an Alabama Girls State inside joke but it was funny so I'll tell it.

At the begining of the week the first song that was played was "Sweet Home Alabama" sung by who else than Bo Bice. It was like the theme song for the week. Of course.


On Monday we're told that we'll have a surpirise guest on Wednesday and that we can sleep an extra hour because the governor (Bob Riley) won't be at the Capitol on Friday so we don't have to leave so early.After reading this what is your guess as to the idenity of this "guest visitor"?


So all day Tuesday there are these reports that Bo is the guest. Like 75% of the girls there thought it was him. The other 25% (of which I was a part) knew it was the governor.


On Wednesday, we went to the building where this guest would be and there was a news van parked out front. So most of the girls were absolutely convinced that it was Bo Bice. I told the girl standing next to me that it couldn't be Bo and would have to be the governor because if it were Bo there would be way more than one news van.

In the auditorium, "Sweet Home Alabama" was blasted through the sound system. So, by now about 87% think it's Bo.

Then Mrs. Sellers comes and says the guest is B.. and so many girls start yelling and screaming like crazy that they didn't know that she finnished with ob Riley until he walks on the stage and the noise is cut in half. I t was so funny.
