Funny how you don't think about how that might be a bad combination until AFTER you've downed an entire TALL glass of G&T. *sigh* I feel sleeepy.

can't sleep yet, Genevieve is still up. She just woke up from a nap like an hour ago, so I have like an hour at least before I can go to bed. lol

Booze doesn't usually make me sleepy. I think it was the combination of that and Claritin (which is random because the Claritin is non-drowsy, too). Yet somehow its quarter to 4 in the morning and I have yet to go to bed. I started working on a project and couldn't stop until it was finished. lol

I had a similar cocktail a couple of nights ago, only Nyquil instead of Claritin, so I knew I'd be sleepy. It worked ... slept like a baby all night.

Almost any type of medicine makes me feel like falling asleep standing up. So I try not to take anything unless I absolutely have to, including aspirin.

Almost any type of alcohol makes me feel like falling asleep standing up. That doesn't stop me from drinking. :)

I imagine the combination of both would have me sleeping for a few days.

The name is definitely French. :P:

"The name derives from Bourbon County, Kentucky, which was itself named after the French royal family at the time of the American Revolutionary War." -Wikipedia
