[quote name='popestpiusx' date='Sep 16 2005, 11:29 PM']While perhaps (or certainly) an exagerated statement, I tend to agree with Cam that the good Msgr. is truely a great priest.

Actually, it is not an exaggerated statement. And I am CERTAIN of that.

[quote name='hot stuff' date='Sep 16 2005, 08:36 AM']I'm watching the Today show (of course) and they are doing their "Today Show Wedding" that they do every year.  You know the one where the audience picks an engaged couple from a list of five, then the audience gets to pick the dress, tuxes, etc.  The whole wedding is broadcasted on the show.
Katie is wearing a lovely, sparkly purple dress
And flip flops!

OK, so I know I've not read this whole thread (although I have read a lot of it) so if this was mentioned at some point in an earlier post I apologize.

However, I was just discussing this topic with my fashionista housemate, and she said, "Well of course -- the wedding was on a beach. Normal shoes would have been very difficult."

I'd missed this very important fact b/c I didn't get to watch the Today show yesterday b/c I went into work early.

That's such a boy response, J says.

Setting is ALWAYS important. ;)

There will be NO outside weddings in my life. Heck, there will be no English weddings in my life. If it ain't Catholic and it ain't orthodox, it ain't happenin'......no discussion, no compromise.

If one don't like my Catholicism, one don't like me.

Katie Couric and her secular whims.....she is the devil. Secularism smells of elderberries.

My brother got married on the beach in North Carolina in May. Too cold and windy and sandy for my taste.

And it takes away from the sacred nature of what's happening. I don't have a specific church picked out or anything, but I know I want to be married in a church. With no flip-flops.

Nope just rigid and uncompromising in matters of faith, doctrine and dogma...ask Anna, she'll agree with you.
