However, I was just discussing this topic with my fashionista housemate, and she said, "Well of course -- the wedding was on a beach. Normal shoes would have been very difficult." Sojourner Posted September 17, 2005 Share Posted September 17, 2005 My brother got married on the beach in North Carolina in May. Too cold and windy and sandy for my taste. And it takes away from the sacred nature of what's happening. I don't have a specific church picked out or anything, but I know I want to be married in a church. With no flip-flops.
