cmotherofpirl Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 (edited) So far today I have washed 14 pair of shoes, 5 cats [two more are in hiding] and a bathroom and a car. I still have to wash a dog who is hiding under the bed. The first cat warned the other cats who ran like ----, and we had to climb the apple tree and onto the roof to catch them. They all made friends with our local pepe le peu last night. The dog tried to bathe the cats and they rubbed all over her for revenge. I am done now, my Southern Comfort is waiting. and how was YOUR day??? Edited September 16, 2005 by cmotherofpirl

homeschoolmom Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Well, I haven't washed nearly as much... three children.... several loads of laundry... some dishes... a sticky floor... Okay... none of that... exept the dishes... well, I loaded the dishwasher... does that count??
Thy Geekdom Come Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I'm waiting for Jen to get back from washing her laundry to talk to me again.
homeschoolmom Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Oh, I did sanitize HSbaby's hands when he played, "what's this in my diaper?" this morning...
Brother Adam Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 washing day? We wash dishes like once every few weeks. Wash clothes maybe once every couple of months. Be amazed how often you can re-wear underwear until someone notices.

Kilroy the Ninja Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I'm too sick to wash dishes today. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! My washing day is Monday. Sorry about the skunk Cmom - icky. But all that hard work makes the Comfort that much sweeter!

Kilroy the Ninja Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 talk about an odiferous chapeau....
IcePrincessKRS Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I washed 1 kid twice (the what's in my diaper game sounds similar to today's events, only there was no diaper, just a kid trying not to do her buisness on the floor), several loads of laundry, globs of yogurt and sweet and sour sauce from chicken nuggets off the floor, and packed up loads of dishes and candles and candle holders, as well as a few spare things, and arranged to get rid of at least one piece of furniture, possibly more. Though I feel I wasn't as productive as I should have been, when you lay it out like that it sounds like I did alot! lol I'm still congested today, though, so I've been taking it easy and taking breaks often. :

missionseeker Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I did a load of laundry (it's divide in my house each of the older four kids washes load whenever their specific load needs to be done - I envy the jeans girl) then I cleaned out the back of my dad's 74 ford pickup truck which hadn't been cleaned in maybe a year(I don't know they stopped using it when the gas hit a dollar)(w/the help of my lil sis who is now seated beside me) then i rinsed it with the hose (all of this with the camper shell on because there were only two home who could move it and it normally takes 4) so that we could put chicken/goat food in it.I helped my sister move a chicken pen(w/out killng any chicksYEA!) Then I helped 4 people unload 3900 pounds of food from the back of an 18 wheeler to pallets or the truck or a little wagon thingy and the I took all the food off a pallet and helped Dad restack it and then I got most the food off another pallet and helped Dad restack it and then we stacked the stuff in the truck and on the wagon thingy. And then I ate supper
