BC4Life Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 ive been friends with this girl since last october and she and i are really really close, and its almost like we're more than friends, yet we dont go out. ill give you the overall situation: we talk all the time nonstop whenever we can. conversations can go for hours. but latly, she hasnt talked to me at all. im pretty sure i didnt do anything wrong, and its killing me emotionally that she wont say anything anymore! i asked if there was anything, but she said no and that she just really had nothing to talk about. but there is always something to talk about with us. help! i need a girl's opinion. is it because its the beggining of school?
little_angel202 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) ok i say bied your time dont presure her to talk to you perhaps she needs space or a bit of a break even if you your self are deing to speak to her!!! of corse its very possible its to do with the begining of the school year and she has lots to do and she could be under stress ! try not to worry about it to much us girls are ( well i known to be) very temprimental and we like a bit of peace sometimes you could say a little prayer that it workes out and try talking to her again in a few days hope that helps - katy Edited September 17, 2005 by little_angel202
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Here are several points that I think need addressed, in no particular order... 1) Why are you asking for relationship help on the internet? a) Why are you doing it on a Catholic "phorum"? 2) Did it ever occur to you that she might be telling the truth? 3) Why don't you find something to talk about, instead of her? 4) How much time is encompassed in "latly"? 5) Why is it killing you if someone whom you're just friends with has nothing to talk about? Spaz. And now, to answer your question, despite my lack of being a female... No.

No.
not the nicest way of saying it, but my advice is also not to worry about it. If you stress about something like this, she'll pick up on it and then you might feel worse. So, just be friends, and don't overthink it...
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Yes, or you can phrase it like that and smell of elderberries all the fun out of everything...

Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Why yes, I do. Two, in fact. The sheer illogic of your statement regarding a "prater", and I just find you to be unbelievably comical.

Proud2BCatholic139 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I agree, pray about it. I have been in this situation before. Have fun and yet, BE YOURSELF!!!! She is a girl. (Need I say more.) I felt that way when this kid liked me. Don't push it because when this kid who liked me did that, I was pushed away. I couldn't talk to him anymore because of it. Pray and trust in God. :

Spaz? nahhh.. just another fool in love as for the rest of you, thanks for your help. ill continue to pray and i wont lose faith. sooner or later this will all be over

As for the Catholic aspect...religion and romance really don't go together. At least conventional religions. 2) Close friends and romantic relationships are very different. You view it as the latter, she views it as the former, or as neither. As for expressing your feelings...why are you asking here? Just do it. God... 3) She obviously doesn't want to talk to you. Leave her alone? 4) XD 5) Uh...I've pulled all-nighters talking to/doing things with friends. Does that make them anything more? Fake teenage love...cute. Prayer? See above bit on free will.
Brother Adam Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Remember young'ins Chris is a troll and is only trying to cause trouble.
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 And when he absolutely destroys any semblance of an argument that your illogical stance had, you should just ignore him or post something like Adam did.
*lil girl 4 jesus* Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 this is like one of the most noncreepy posts we've had in a while lol....
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 No it's not. I'm a very creepy person. I even dyed my hair black. Take that, nonconformity!

Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005
this is when intercession and prayer intentions come into play chris. God hears us and will answer in one way or another, according to God's will.
So you're telling me that your God has no qualms with altering a person's way of thinking, and thereby changing their personality, should people pray for it to be so? I'm growing to like this figure less and less every day.
I would say you probably dotn know what your talking about here
Do go on.
he's asking here because he actually cares and it means alot to him. this person is important to him and he's willing to ask others for advice. tere is nothing wrong with that. its called caring
Following through with the advice of others' on this subject seems like a good example of something I like to call "deceit", if you ask me.
its too soon to know or conclude that, a week can fly by so fast for some ppl.
Eh?
aren't you 17 yourself? i dont think you have that much knowledge about teenage love if your still in that age yourself
Would you like for me to relate a tragic tale involving deaths, suicides, and death threats that encompass all age groups? I'd rather not, but if I must to prove a point against Xian imperialism, no matter how small, I will.
uh, thats you, and this is him...two different ppl--BIG difference bud.
Yes, but not in the way you want. I'm considered antisocial and avoidant.
prayer........can make the world of difference
Yes, your wonderful change-who-people-are-because-others-want-it kind of God sounds very appealing.
