Check out this forum...Help!

Hi all....I'm sure a lot of you have heard of the group Call to Action. It's a liberal Catholic group that has many members supporting things like women's ordination, abortion, same-sex marriage etc.

I have been chatting on their forum for awhile (as one of the few posters who tries to be faithful to the Magisterium), but I think I might need some help explaining Church teaching on a lot of things. If you like a challenge and/or discussion with some pretty liberal people, then check out the forum on cta-usa.org. Like I said, some more voices on there would be really good. :D:

Actually you guys are totally right. I've given up after now being called un-Catholic (because I am too "rigid" in my beliefs), homophobic, uncompassionate and various other things all for the fact that I follow the teachings of the Church and I didn't respond to posts with "Oh my goodness, I've seen the light, you are so right!!". It makes me so sad sometimes when I think of what some of our "brothers and sisters" have reduced Catholicism down to. Argh. Anyways...later...God Bless...

i'm sorry i couldn't help you erin. it just crushes my spirit too much to debate w/ Catholics who are like that.
