I didn't know that the huricane season had a formal ending day.

I geuss it is this northern climate that screws me up.... I mean the first day of winter comes far after the pond has frozen over up hear so I geuss to me the thought of having a season ending day for anything outside perhaps deer-hunting or football season seems kind of arbitrary.

Invent names.... people do it everyday! Besides you can always look to other languages for variations on the same name.

As someone stated earlier, once they have used all 26 names in a season they start using the Greek alphabet to name additional hurricanes.
