Well my phellow phatmassers the time has come for me to clear out of here. My stuff is packed and loaded, just a few little things to do around here before I head out.

I'll be offline until further notice. No nice internet at my mom's house. She's old school.

Monty Python was the first thing in the suitcase! :P:

Everybody be careful out there. Be courteous and be loving.

Take care of yourselves. Be kind to Don John if he gets on here in the next day or so. He'll be all alone.

Hopefully it won't be so bad.

Love to you all. No really. I mean it. ALL of you.

God Bless!

Ninja out.

it if goes stright with no upturn it will hit us in corpus christi. if it goes up northwest as they say it will it will yeah hit houston.

scariness....flour bluff and port aransas have already said its a mandatory evacuation. including my unversity that is ON A ISLAND hahaha

well, we are staying put. After packing, packing, waiting to see where this monster was going to hit, we ultimately decided to stay where we are because it's aiming at Galveston/Houston area.

the good news is that it has been downgraded to a Cat 4.

I think that was the scariest part. Should we wait (since we are more south?) or run now while we can? But since it's hitting up there, we are def. safer down here. We waited because we didn't know exactly where to run. West? Towards Laredo, or North but inland, to Dallas or San Marcos? but we are staying.

Even though it's probably the size of TX, we won't feel those 150 mph winds down here so much. Probably just 70 mph or less.

prayers for all those directly in the path of Rita.

phew. id rather see fellow phatmassers coming to dallas for positive reasons, not because of this hurricane thats gunna get to us too

glad to hear youre not in trouble there!

thanks Laura. I know, the only good reason to go up there (if we had to have gone up there cause of Rita) would to visit our uncle and his family up there.

my uncle Gino had to stay in Houston as well, since he works for the city. But his whole family went up towards Dallas. (Actually McKinney)
