I would add one to Cmom's.

passionate about God.

I do want my guy to be passionate about me. That's loving and caring for me and being my uber bestest friend. Of course it would be vice versa as well. :)

Just kidding. I think you're a little young for me - but I couldn't just let that comment sit there!!!
ROFL!!! I can bake pretty well and I make a mean mac n coagulated milk but that's why I like my guy to be able to cook.

I can boil a mean pot of water, but that's about it :lol_roll:

Actually, I can make good chili as well. But I have always found it more fun to cook with someone special than just to cook for someone special :)

Agreed - it's nice if someone can cook - Papa John's get's old after awhile. :D:

The best is when you try to cook together. With the right person, even if you set off the smoke alarm (which I have done), you can still have a great time together ^_^

That is very true. Although cooking for someone special is infinitely preferable to cooking for no one at all. ;)
Intelligence and virtue attract me vastly more than any physical characteristic.

I swoon when my husband talks to me about uber-geek stuff.

(Okay, he is actually handsome too, but it was the assembly programming that hooked me.)

Ok, I need to find someone like you!

Oh, and for the people who like decent guy cooks, I'll cook when the mood hits me, but it's only like once every two weeks or so. When it does hit me, it'll either be something like steak or something from a box. I'm not too great on the complicated stuff yet. Plus this hurricane stuff has had the side-effect of not having to cook for myself at all.

So I'm wondering what you all think. How does a person's personality affect how you perceive their physical attractiveness, or attractiveness in general?

Definitely.
Along the same lines, does a great personality (encompassing things like strong faith, humour, intelligence, etc.) overcome what otherwise might be physical shortcomings?

Absolutely. Spiritual beauty is much more important than physical.
