jmjtina
I would add one to Cmom's. passionate about God. I do want my guy to be passionate about me. That's loving and caring for me and being my uber bestest friend. Of course it would be vice versa as well.

With the right person, even if you set off the smoke alarm (which I have done), you can still have a great time together

scardella
Intelligence and virtue attract me vastly more than any physical characteristic. I swoon when my husband talks to me about uber-geek stuff. (Okay, he is actually handsome too, but it was the assembly programming that hooked me.)
Ok, I need to find someone like you! Oh, and for the people who like decent guy cooks, I'll cook when the mood hits me, but it's only like once every two weeks or so. When it does hit me, it'll either be something like steak or something from a box. I'm not too great on the complicated stuff yet. Plus this hurricane stuff has had the side-effect of not having to cook for myself at all. Edited September 22, 2005 by scardella

OldFashionedGirl
So I'm wondering what you all think. How does a person's personality affect how you perceive their physical attractiveness, or attractiveness in general?
Definitely.
Along the same lines, does a great personality (encompassing things like strong faith, humour, intelligence, etc.) overcome what otherwise might be physical shortcomings?
Absolutely. Spiritual beauty is much more important than physical.
