How often do you change?

I know I get tired of backgrounds pretty quickly. They're okay for about a week and then I don't want to see them anymore. I'm wondering how many people even notice their backgrounds. Anyone else like me?

Sweetpea changes her xanga a lot.... think she does the same with her desktop?

Yep. Plus, I have so much carp on my desktop most of the time that I can hardly see the background anyway.

i change mine every couple of months or so. usually when i see a rockin' new one here on phatmass!

I can understand that. Every so often I clear them off, but then they multiply overnight somehow ...

I change mine monthly. On the first of the month. Or the first day of the month that I'm home.

I have four desktops and use a dialup, so it usually takes me a couple hours to find good replacements...

I love ya Laura... yes, yes I do change my Xanga layout often, but my background doesn't change as much.

I thought this thread was gonna be about changing clothes too. haha

Its been a long time since ive changed a background.. I had 1 up there, then all of the sudden, windows decided it didnt like it and made it a plain blue screen... then it made the background some type of error message, so I just decided to select "none" so its been a plain blue screen for about a year now
