As for total opposites, well, that has to be Don John.
Carrie is the most un-opposite of me. DJ could be most opposite. Ironmonk'd be a close second, or maybe a tie.

I really think Monk is more my opposite than DJ, because sometimes DJ and I agree on things. Monk and I never see eye to eye on things. tojo
In terms of liberal/conservative views, traditional/charismatic stances, short/tall, geek/cool, etc, etc, etc...
I don't agree with the premise that being charismatic and traditional doesn't mix. I believe in everything the Church teaches, and love traditional Catholicism. I also love charismatic spirituality. Granted, charismatic and "liturgical" approaches to spirituality can clash, but they by no means must, they can complement eachother beautifully. Keep in mind that I'm unfamiliar with the renewal outside of my region, and what problems there might be. My home parish is a charismatic personal parish of our Bishop, and we are also widely regarded as one of the most orthodox and liturgically correct parishes in our region. It is a not uncommon occurence for the parish to write to Rome inquiring of ways to be more liturgically correct. Many non-charismatics are our parishioners because they cannot find another parish that is nearly as faithful to Church.
