I don't have time for RCIA. I can't be on the team this year. We have a new priest and I am so young I will be under his microscope...and my friend isn't doing it so I would be all alone.

It starts next week..........but no one has called me.....I'm just going to try to focus on school & my jobs.

I just feel uncomfortable because the old priest loved me and thought i'd be really good for RCIA, but then he stepped down as our parish priest so now it's this new guy, and I don't want to be under any scrutiny from him the whole time....

I think you've made a good plan. RCIA is really time-consuming, and if you're not comfortable in the situation as it stands, it's probably better to focus your time and efforts in other directions.
