It's this fantastic philosophy, but it talks about how you will always preceive youself and the people you relate to as the main thing (normal) while anyone else will be "other" (non-normal). It's just how you see the world... not that it's a correct way to see the world. Normal is a really relative term, and what is normal depends a lot of age and socioeconomics and gender and race and location and a million other things. People are different, yeah, but society only lets them be so different until they are not normal anymore. Like in the US it's not normal to not be a Christian, and in fact, most people will tell you it's wrong to not be a Christian. In my college it is normal to be having sex with someone, and if you're not (esp to a long time beau) it's considered weird and not normal. Life is crazy and people judge you on how they think you should act. Do what you want. And let them do what they want.

There is a material normal, one that is told to you by the media, but no one is the same, so there technically isnt a normal.
