when landing on the moon, Neil Armstrong was [i]supposed[/i] to say (what you thought that was spontaneous? you're livin in a dream world they told him to say it):


"that's one small step for [b]a[/b] man; one giant leap for mankind"

instead, he said

"that's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind"

which, when you think about it, doesn't make sense. "man" especially used in that context specifically refers to mankind.

so he basically might as well have said
"that's one small step for mankind; one giant leap for mankind"

so yeah... woops... nice goin there Neil you ruined the whole thing! we might as well pretend we never landed on the moon with such a nonsensicle first phrase (though it was all filmed in New Mexico anyway, look at the shadows or something stupid like that lol)
