Old_Joe Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 (edited) I'm gonna say both because the egg would've had to been fertilized in order for a chick to hatch, and the chicken would have to have the ability to make eggs or fertilize them. : Edited September 29, 2005 by Old_Joe
zwergel88 Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 I think it was an egg laid by a turkey or something that morphed into a chicken.
Sarah_JC Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 I think chickens are domesticated versions of something really cool. With talons.
PadrePioOfPietrelcino Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 I said the chicken, because. 1) if the egg just mutated into the chicken then there would be a long process of mutations before it finished and at what point would it be a chicken vs. a primative chicken, and if there was a primative chicken wouldn't it still be a chicken? 2) If the egg was first who sat on the egg 3) Can't be both because even if a chicken was created a fertilized egg biologically couldn't be fertilized at the same time. But it doesn't matter, because the Phenomonolist Philosopher think a checken is just a bunch of sense data anyway
Brother Adam Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 The Chicken of course. Then again, I'm a creationist.
