Christie_M Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 I guess(from what I've seen) I like it.
inDEED Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 This movie rocks... Grease Lightnin'? Come on, now... I wish I was a "T Bird"...
megrc Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I have to say that it is one of the best movies ever made!
keighters Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 i definitely was obsessed with this movie in 4th grade... I'd watch it at least once a week..... i have seen it since hah
Nathan Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I voted no. I'm more of a "Saturday Night Fever" guy.
homeschoolmom Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I liked it in like, fourth grade... but I don't anymore. Don't you think the message is "Hey Sandy, put out and be a cool girl"?

sweetpea316 Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Such a classic. I'm a huge musical fan, so I love it...even though yes, sadly it does send some wrong messages.
Dudette Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I use to watch them with my friends when I was younger, I liked them....but my parents don't want me to see it now, I don't know why but it's ok.
keighters Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005
Anybody seen it on stage?
i was in it in fourth grade ahah it deifnitely had alot of the messages and words to songs changed of course like i was rizzo and i had to sing "Look at me i'm Sandra Dee, lousy with counting to three... won't go to bed till it's 10 o'clock i can't i'm Sandra Dee"
Maria Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I don't like it, at least thematically. It could have been good. It's funny, because I watched it for the first time while babysitting about a week ago, and I was thinking that someone could use it as an excuse to write a paper on how it went wrong. Right when Danny (is that his name?) was willing to change to become better, Sandi gave up and became worse. The ending is supposed to be a happily ever after kind of ending, and it is comedic since everybody does get get together, but it's a horrible ending. They're not going to stay together, they're not going to be happy, they're not challenging eachother to grow and become better. Sandi gave up on that and decided to desert herself ('Goodbye Sandi D.' or something) to be with Danny. It's the opposite of how it should be. And Danny wan't bad; there was good in him and Sandi had seen that during the summer. But now he's trapped in the 'coolness' he'd chosen. Anyway, I feel that it's a horrible movie and it's WRONG!
photosynthesis Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I used to like Grease, but after awhile those songs started to get on my nerves... I definitely am more of a Saturday Night Fever fan
onathing1 Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 i hate to admit it...but i like this movie. it's definately not a chaste movie...but the songs are fun.
Christie_M Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005
Anybody seen it on stage?
no, but we(our play thingy) might be doing it next!
