heres another idea:
if what adam wants you to do wont take very long, do both that and pick up the house a little... then watch a movie. something like... benny and joon. if you havent seen crash... watch it! or how about princess bride. thats a classic. another funny is billy maddison. or what about a romantic comedy? i enjoy those occasionally. what about you've got mail? the kid? as good as it gets? grand canyon? [b]what's eating gilbert grape?[/b] shark tale? the notebook? [b]the itlalian job?[/b] either of the bourne movies? OR BOTH!
