i would imagine that people experience this each in his or her own way. that said, since the role of a guardian angel is to protect you, i would also suspect that, if you were to ever feel a sense of protection or safety you didn't expect to feel, that this could very well be your guardian angel at work, "speaking" to you, or interceeding in some way.
