Guest SoulfireYM Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I'm looking for suggestions of women who were considered rebels of their day and we know look at as inspiring. They are going to be used for a young women's retreat talking about rebel princesses (Daughter's of the King). I'd love any suggestions! Thanks a mil God Bless!!

Here's what one Archbishop has to say about her: http://www.ny-archdiocese.org/cardinal/columns.cfm

I love the way he handled the gay rights and pro-abortion protesters that one time when they came in during Mass to desecrate the Eucharist.

scardella Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 what do you mean by rebels, though? Just a thought, off-hand, the original rebel was Satan. Eve was also a rebel. Mary, though, was radically obedient to God. It really depends on the sense that you're using. I'm just being a party pooper and trying to remind you that rebelling for rebellion's sake isn't so hot. (or maybe it can turn out to be really hot, in the end...) Anyway, back to your girl thing....
