Theoketos is right. Christ's love allows us to love God as he did, when we die to ourselves (and live for others) as Christ did for us. The life of the Blessed Mother is a great example of this love. St. Josemaria once said, "Don't be content to ask Jesus pardon just for your own faults: don't love him just with your own heart...

yeah, I'd be the first person to agree with you... touchy-feely stuff tweaks me out because I don't trust people and I'm a cynic. Sometimes people say "I love you" and they have no idea what they're saying, and if they did they'd know that they don't mean it. So I hate touchy-feely stuff when it's fake or unchristian.

But when it's true I'm all for it!
