RemnantRules Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Oh and for Cow of Shame I needed to tell you that the difference of an Engagement Ring should be is when you wear that ring it means YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED. For a good healthy Catholic relationship it should signify that all your waiting for is a date and getting things planned. It's a DEF commitment. The others your making a promise for purity and for promise rings, I think their bull carp, but that's just me. God Bless Jason Gregory

Didacus Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 chastity rings are all fine and dandy, but if you want to go the distance may I suggest the chastity belts with an exchange of keys? it would actually be incentive not to break up as well as being faithful to your engagement because no one wants to pursue an ex to have their 'chastity key back'. Think about it... I'm certain you can get medevil style belts at your local corner store in the condom section.

I think that I am to marry him someday but we are far from any engagement. He wants to get matching chastity rings to show the world and ourselves that we are in a serious dating relationship and that we are saving ourselves unlike many couples I see who have the "I am going to marry him someday" excuse and have sex as a result. We both know that someday we will be married. But until then we are remaining chaste. Meg
