The new contest goes like this: STEP 1) Sign up for the official RMB Street Team, "Dreamers Anonymous" [url="http://www.ryanmeyers.com/dreamers/"]here[/url] STEP 2) Log on to the DA site and go the the "contests" section. STEP 3) Opt in to the "Sticky Sticker Sticking Contest" STEP 4) Wait patiently for your stickers to arrive STEP 5) Find the coolest, most visible, most creative place to stick a sticker. STEP 6) Give that sticker great joy by attaching it to its newfound home. STEP 7) Take a picture. STEP 8) Either e-mail it to contest@ryanmeyers.com or (if you're just not that technologically savvy) mail it to Sticker Contest / 416 S 13th Ave / Hattiesburg, MS 39401 STEP 9) Wait for the grand decision to be made as to whether your picture wins. All photos will be posted on the website, so you'll have all the time in the world to decide exactly how lame your choice of sticker locations was. STEP 10) Enter again. You can do it once a week! The Prizes: * An autographed copy of "Learning to Dream" * An autographed copy of "Quiet Cities" A WEEK BEFORE ITS RELEASE DATE! * A free concert at your parish, school, house, whatever (you just have to provide travel and lodging) * The knowledge that you made one sticker the happiest one in the world.

keighters Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 (edited) i had trouble .... like i couldnt put in the magazine, the town my church was in... or phatmass.com.... so i just put phatmass and instead of St. Patrick's in WHite Haven I had to put St. Patrick and i left my magazine blank.... other than that it was fine it said somethign about the syntax or something....i dont remember exactly.. franciscanheart Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 one thing to be noted is that if you are running mozilla firefox you should open it in a new window. maybe its just mine but when i tried to open it in a new tab it wouldnt work.
ryanmeyersmusic Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 I think I fixed the syntax errors folks were getting... it had to do with apostrophes (as in St. Patrick's) that were throwing the whole thing off...

I try to limit my self-promotion to this forum, since it's a little more focused and thus on-topic. I would be eternally grateful if you pointed the good folks in Open Mic and Creepy Aliens to the contest though... It should be fun, and it's a chance for folks to get their creativity and their beautiful mug on a website that gets visited by about 300 different people every day...
