I have received word through a mutual friend that the leg amputation surgery will be today or tomorrow. (The friend was in such shock to hear the news that she wasn't sure whether the doctor said "tomorrow" or "day after tomorrow." But she said that Jay seemed to be at peace with the finality of this decision.) This has been a long, very costly, very painful journey for Jay. Please continue to remember him in your prayers.
