Virginia, but born in South Jersey and raised in Wilmington, Delaware.

What in hell does a South Jersey accent sound like? They sound normal to me.

South Jerseyans use Philly slang and pronounce water like "wooder." They also pronounce their O's funny, so that home sounds like hooooooooooooome and phone sounds like phooooooooooooooooone. People in Maryland pronounce their O's the same way and it bugs the heck out of me. Marylanders also leave out important syllables in words, so that baltimore, maryland sounds like "bawlmore murrlend"
