Smile_Jesus_loves_you Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I don't know about anyone else but my family goes tricker-treating, we live in a great neighbor with lots of elderly folks and they love seeing the kids. We don't do anything gross or scary, (my sister went as our Blessed Mother last year.) Well this year as so many prepare for it i am finding that terrifing costumes and decor are in, and there from the new set of horror movies on the rise and it makes me worried cause i for one HATE anything to do with horror, and find them borderline to overthetop EVIL. Bad always triupmh and what i want to know is the ones with priests, Were is God?? OHHH it makes me steam! anyone else share my view or appose it??

All Hallows Eve The day before all saints. Back in the day, people would dress up to scare off the evil spirits...but people have taken God out of Halloween.

My parish also have an All Saints Day Mass where the Children prepare costumes and come as Saints. Then either during the Homily or After Mass (Can't remember which) they give some information on the Saint and the Priest tries to guess them.
