philothea Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Foo Fighters "DOA" I am certain this is because of the fictional mass slaughter I just went through. It's a shame we have to die, my dear No one's getting out of here alive.... this time.
PadreSantiago Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Hmmm this is tough and I really had to think about it for a while but when it came down to it NO QUESTION! The soundtrack of my life is WU-TANG CLAN 36 chambers of death! The cd that is not just one song, because lets face it kiddies my life is way too crazy and exciting to be summed up in one song.

Sojourner Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 At this very second, I have part of the Confutatis from Mozart's Requiem playing ... "Voca, voca me, voca me cum benedictis." I had three hours of practice today, and I'll have at least that long every day through Saturday, so I'm guessing the Requiem and I will be very, very good friends by the end of the week.

oooh, fun! now that i'm all done with school i've had to find another choir to get involved in. so i signed up with a community choir at least until their march performance of Haydn's "Mass in a time of War." Then we'll see. None of my parishes have choirs, and even if they did, they all sing contemporary music, whereas I enjoy singing classical. My friend invited me to join the choir at his parish, and they do the indult Tridentine Mass so that might be fun!
Sojourner Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 I loved it lots last year, but this year have been unable to muster the enthusiasm level for it. Don't know why. I'm signed up for this concert, a trip to Chicago, a performance of Britten's War Requiem, and a recording session ... not quite sure how long I'll stick it out. This concert, at least, will be fun.

Guest Rick777 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 hmmmmmmm.....ordinary people by john legend & the prayer by andrea bocelli and celine dion are usually always in my head for some reason
Guest Rick777 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 After further consideration I would have to say that the one song that would be the soundtrack to my life(actually i just like it and its always stuck in my head) is: The Scientist by Coldplay
Sojourner Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 "Lay Lady Lay" by Magnet from the Mr. & Mrs. Smith soundtrack. Which has lots of good songs on it, btw.
