We just got a new ad rep for the publication I write for.

Apparently he's very good-looking. I have yet to see him, but I've heard tell of his good looks from (straight) guys and women alike.

Why would it matter if he was good looking or not?
Well, unless if a woman was single, but...:idontknow:

It would only matter to me if he was a good co-worker/or boss.

My thoughts exactly.

And actually, good looks can really help in a sales position, from what I've read. Hopefully he can leverage that into more ads, which means more revenue for the paper, which means ... that we probably still won't get the raises we deserve, but still.

I know, I'm not saying it's bad, :idontknow:

Having "thoughts" or looking at a person lustfully can lead to impure thoughts......

I try to stay away from that.

it doesnt have to be lustful

Is your avatar *supposed* to be a broken image link, Proud?

I agree. It is what is referred to as "the slippery slope."

Better to be safe than sorry.

So if I think a guy is attractive, I just shouldn't acknowledge it? Just put it out of my mind altogether? Am I allowed to talk to him, or can I only talk to guys I don't find attractive?

BTW, this guy does look good, but he's very, very young.

If he's old enough to be an ad rep

He's old enough to sojourn

Attracted to is not LUST. Hopefully we know the difference.
Common sense? :idontknow:

For this sojourner, there's a minimum age requirement. He doesn't come close.

I don't think calling someone "eye candy", i.e. acknowledging that I think he's physically attractive, is lusting. Your comments seem to indicate you think otherwise.

Saying he's "eye candy" is slang for saying he's attractive.

Lust was never even an issue. I've never even seen the man!
