theculturewarrior Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 When Mary gave birth to our Lord in the grotto with all the animals and their dung, was it uncommon for expecting mothers to be treated that way, or is this an example of her Immaculate humility? (I already have an opinion, you can tell, but I need more information/conjecture if you have it).
Laudate_Dominum Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 It was because they were poor and there was no room at the inn. It was not a common thing for expecting mothers to be treated this way. It shows the humility and poverty of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
