My brother and I listen to Audioslave when we are together.
When we used to work out together at school that was all we listened too.

I enjoy a few of their tracks -- "Be Yourself," off their latest album, is one great tune. Mostly for the guitar licks.

They're a bunch of communists, though, which is why I would never actually buy their stuff. (The more money they make, the more it enables them to publicly voice their BS politics to our youth.)

[quote name='Sojourner' date='Oct 18 2005, 09:19 AM']Anyone a fan? I like what I've heard on the radio, although I can't say I've investigated the lyrics.

They are awesome band i love them :yahoo: their lyrics are fine but if you are sensitive then they do say F*cker like a few times in "set it off" and they talk about praying to the angels gods and pagans in "like a stone." It is surprising considering where the band came from. Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden weren't very clean when it came to their lyrics :ohno: If you like harder stuff go with their 1st album. their 2nd one, (which i like better) isn't really hard rock like the 1st  :smokey:

i like their music, but i'm trying to figure out what "doesn't remind me " is all about. I love the song tho. I'm thinking about looking into both of their cd's. didn't know about the communist thing tho.

Audio Slave is fronted by Chris Cornell, who's vision of the world borders on the nihilistic. They are not Christian, but Cornell is a genius and one of my favorite songwriters.
