if you look 12 you probably can't grow a real mustache anyway. I'm totally serious, you're only like 16 right? I couldn't grow a [b]decent[/b] mustache until 18 and judging from your photo you might not hit it til 20. There is nothing worse than a kid with a patchy, peach-fuzzy mustache. I say this only as a warning. If you can't grow one that an adult would be proud of, then it's not worth it and it looks ten times worse than you think.

Currently I have a full beard that my girlfriend hates very much...I love it though. I have to say bye bye on Halloween.

Eddie, there's nothing wrong with looking young. I look young. I'm almost 29, and I still get carded when I go to bars or liquor stores. It has come up from time to time at work -- at my first paper, I got asked which high school I was reporting for -- but not so much of that in my current job.

I think it's not so much how you look as how you act that in the end determines how people treat you. If you act towards people with respect and maturity, the same courtesy will generally (but not always) be extended to you.

Or, like hot stuff sagaciously suggested, you could work on growing back hair. That's definitely a sign of age and wisdom.
