RC_ Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 Thanks! My family has "Reading Days" during school vacations. On Wednesdays, all we do is read. Add to that the hour or so a day that I devote to reading at night, you get alot done. : I usually finish a book in a week or so. If its a "pulp" book, then it takes less than a week. Tale of Two Cities took me three.

(and I've never seen the movie... would you believe that?)
onathing1 Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 The Lord of the Rings 1984 wow....for all the books i read and for as big a book worm as i am, i've only read 2. boy is that upsetting. i tend to read classic literature so maybe thats why.
tojo Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 This list is bull.... I mean where are the Boxcar Children and the Hardy Boys...... that would add hundreds to my list.....

Not history, literary, or any other type of experts have formed opnions to debate the validity of each book taking part of the list. I think any well educated and informed person would have put 'Brave New World' in that list for example.

Cow of Shame Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 hmmm...only read 10. not too bad, i suppose. I wonder what makes them 'the best'?
