TheOliverOrder88 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I am wondering if any of these nice educated fellows on these forums are re-verts. I came from a Protestant, in belief, but Catholic family. (Meaning my parents were theoretically Protestant, but we went to Catholic Mass.) I got involved with the parish youth group and the rest is history.

journeyman Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Welcome back born and raised protestant, married Catholic, attended Mass for 20 years before finally surrendering to inevitability . . . my son will tell you our parish is fundamentally protestant, even though it answers to the Roman Catholic Bishop . . . (so toledo, take that: : : : : ) I suspect I'm in the same boat, sort of . . . I consider myself a convert, rather than a revert . . . surprised a lot of people in the parish who didn't know/couldn't tell I wasn't Catholic when I signed up for RCIA
peach_cube Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I'm a revert. Finally getting confirmed this year (I'll be 27)
