Ziggamafu Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 so it seems that half the population of Catholics (at least from my somewhat slim view in Michigan) don't like to kneel. they justify it (or their bishop justifies it, so they say) by saying that the congregation is full of old or sickly people. of course, this commonsense factor affords a loop-hole for the lazy and senseless liberals. so here's my idea... what if all the bishops said that there had to be a special (smaller) reserved section for the elderly and sickly who are unable to kneel and that a "grave obligation" penalty was attached to kneeling for the rest of the people, whether or not kneelers are present?
