I say it depends, but mostly my opinion is no.

I mean, come on, this game already goes for around 3 hours. Why make it longer???????

I can understand a close homerun, but, let the game be played.
If a play is close, just let it be.

Just hire more umps and postion them to see the ball better.

Like I said, just PLAY BALL!!!!!

Baseball is poetry. Its a fluid motion from the first pitch to the last out. Sports that need timed quarters and halves can have instant replay.

no to the instant replay!>

I agree with what Jamie said.. with soccer being an exception.

The game takes too long already.

I don't like instant replays. Ever. I think they should do away with them.

Baseball is God's game...iit doesn't need to be changed...it is, in itself, perfection...

(Except for the DH rule...that's the work of Satan himself)

I'm a purist. No

No instant replay
Interleague play should only occur in THE WORLD SERIES!
Wild cards are only for video poker in Vegas not the MLB!
No Designated hitter, nine palyers on the field and the same nine should bat!

How could two people have already voted for instant replay?

It is the work of the devil!

And the Lord said, "Behold, I have created baseball, and it is very good, and never shall you lay a hand upon it to alter it." And the Devil, being a very tricky snake, said to man, "did the Lord say that you mustn't replay instantly baseball?"

No to replay with the exception of Homeruns... were they foul or far and over the yellow line or not.

So I guess, what I'm saying is hot stuff... I agree with you!

('bout time we found some common ground)

Never should there ever be instant replay in baseball. It would ruin the game.

I agree about the DH rule. "Ohhh, I'm just a wimpy little pitcher...I don't even know what end of the bat is the handle..."

DH rule is the best rule in Baseball... with the exception that it gives the National League an advantage in the World Series... and by the way, if Instant Replay was allowed right now for homeruns, this game would probably be over... Lane's "Homerun" in the 4th inning, was clearly not a homerun.

Definitely in cricket for all non-obvious decisions, not just run outs, one umpiring error can decide a match.

Typical Sox fan. One bad call against you and you're all over it. Never mind the six key bad calls that went in your favor!

And we both like Jesus. So we gots two things

I like the Interleague play, its neat seeing Mets Vs Yanks, Chi Sox Vs Cubs, Indians VS Reds, etc

ahh... but hot stuff, look at the time that I posted that... I said it long before the game started and that "homerun" took place. Since the '96 World Series, i've though Homerun Replays should become necessary. I could not be mad about the bad call that happened aroun 8:30 or so, when I posted it at 5:44.... Sorry.

With the instant replay rule, there'd be nothing to argue about the morning after a game...EVERY LITTLE CHANGE CAUSES RIPPLES, PEOPLE!!!
