Anastasia13 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Great stuff, no? I mean not as great as like God is, but I would still say great. You?
photosynthesis Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 how about the beign of my existence? goucher college has a math requirement. you can't graduate till you take a math class. this is the 4th time I've tried to take a math class here and every time I've ended up withdrawing because it's so mind-numbingly useless to me. now i'm a senior in my last semester about to graduate and i have to get through this math class but i hate it with the passion of 10,000 burning suns. die math, die die die.
Dudette Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005
die math, die die die.
ditto. I'm in my last year of math in highschool........and well, when my parents mention math, I literally get scared because I hate it and I'm really bad at it...
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Depending on the math, and which I am good at, I like Algebra, Geometry, and Stats. BUT I HATE PROOFS!!!!!!! THEY ARE EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ardillacid Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I love math life would smell of elderberries without it
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 "Your in 12th grade calculus?" "I love math." "Eeww...Why?" "Because it's the same in every country." "Wow, that's deep. This girl is deep." Quote from Mean Girls. I love that movie!
photosynthesis Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 my advice to all the high school homies out there.... take AP calc or stats so that you don't have to take math in college. I wish I did. I always got good grades in math in high school, but when you don't actually DO math for 4 years, you lose whatever knowledge you had really fast. it's the same reason why I've lost all my spanish vocab and guitar technique. practice makes perfect!
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Yeah, I got gyped in 9th grade math and so I am behind.

Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I THINK I AM GOING TO DIE!!!! I only memorized ONE proof. BUT THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!
scardella Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 (edited) I had enough math @ FUS to get a minor in it.. I sort of wish I had taken more, but those dang theology classes were so tempting...
only memorized ONE proof. BUT THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!
Was that the girls=evil proof? Edited October 27, 2005 by scardella

Deeds Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I study nothing but maths. I like it... I want to do a PhD in it next year.
Sojourner Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Math and I don't get along, at least not on the practical level. I can do it, but don't like it. Abstract math is a lot more fun for me -- I LOVED calculus. Totally useless to me now, but still it was fun.
sweetpea316 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005
I can do it, but don't like it.
Same here... I'm good at it, but don't enjoy it.
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I wish I was better at it. Everyone can be better.
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Or everyone can DO better. How is that?
