In light of the "OIliveOrder" talking about his vocations club at school I thought it'd be neat to have one online, so as the idea is just starting, I'm looking for contributors to the blog which this will begin out as.

You can visit the blog at http://catholicvocationclub.blogspot.com

I'd like maybe 7-10 contributors, I would like one novice or seminairian, one or two religious sisters, and the rest discerners.

I think my opening post of the blog is quite prfofound, check it out here:

I think it might be hard to get a novice to contribute. From what I know, novices have pretty busy lives--when I was visiting the Carmelites in Alhambra, I went with the novices' schedule, and as far as I can see they rarely even had access to computers, if ever--the only contact I had with computers was a laptop with no internet access, helping Sr. Mary Scholastica type some things in the vocation office. Otherwise, though, sounds like a great idea :D

yeah i would ahev to agree about the novice part. it will be hard getting a novice because alot fo them are enclosed during the novicate!!!!!! But if you really want one, it would have to be someone who knows ALOT about the lifestyle and one that is not in formation!!!!!!!!!!!1

I didn't, actually (or I might have and just don't remember). Most of my interaction was with the novices/postulants (and 5 of the novices were out on mission), who were all wonderful. But very busy--which is why I say what I do about the novices. Anyway, but I didn't get to know the sisters too well, except for Sr. Mary Scholastica and Sr. Mary Louise in the kitchen (because that was where a lot of my time was spent as a volunteer during the retreat).
