homeschoolmom Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I say it's deffinately in the "dad's domain"... HSdad thinks pumpkin carving is "mom stuff".... Now, usually I'm kinda into that stuff, but I just don't want to do it this year... so HSDad and HDdaughter are in the other room gutting the pumpkin....
Sojourner Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I didn't carve one this year. But I do want pumpkin seeds, so I'm going to have to get a pumpkin and gut it.
homeschoolmom Posted October 31, 2005 Author Posted October 31, 2005 but the question remains... Dad's job or mom's?

Well, in my case it's either me or nobody. I don't mind doing it; but then, I have a really good knife set so it's not that hard. I'd say it's a gender-less job. Whoever wants to do it should do it. If no one wants to do it, then you should have a thumb war for it.

I've been having cravings for salty things lately. I was at the grocery early Saturday morning and felt compelled to buy olives and eat some of them on my way home. At 9 a.m. Isn't that weird? But they were sooooooooooo yummy.
Guest T-Bone Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Mom bakes the seeds, moms have to gut the pumpkin since they're the only ones that'll do it right. You gotta get the inside clean, mon...
