And this arguement over coffee and doughnuts my friends, is an example of why congregational church government is a bad idea. Churches have split over arguements like this, not infrequently. Sojourner, you played your part brilliantly. Take a bow.

I'm aware of the force of those words. I certainly wouldn't compare RC to Jack Chick (may God have mercy upon him) in any other way other than in his making stuff up just like that. While it was a valid comparison though, he is such athouroughly scandalous figure that the comparison does cause one to wonder whether or not I am slandering RC bysuggesting that RC can be compared to him in other ways (again, I'm not), and therefore it was not the wisest type of simile to use, even though no harm was intended nor should properly be inferred. Nonetheless, it is, and I created the ocasion for it, for which I sincerely apologize. Mea culpa. Please forgive me.
